Oooookay finally, here is the "finished" level, the one I have been working on for the past 6 months.
Presenting, the level shown at the Plymouth College of Art Summer Show.

Ok, it needs improvement but for 6 months work its not bad at all, considering I taught myself scripting in Javascript while making everything else(apart from the music and 2 sound effects).
Many things I would do differently, some the same and some just add more Dakka.

Quick Note on controls for the level:
WASD to move
Mouse to look
Tab to switch weapons
E to pick up weapons
Space to jump
Escape to pause
