New things that go BANG.

Starting yesterday night, I decided to not be lazy and actually follow through with my initial plans for my game, some furious coding and mild confusion later, I have something playable. By the end of the week I'm aiming to have a finished gun range training course made up for it, and maybe even menu systems and Kongregate API, those aren't definite but I want to have them done asap after the level is finished. Seeing as I'm jumping straight into a new version, 3.x or 4.x I'm not entirely sure, this project has been a bit of a mess, I'll be evaluating my work thus far.
After a jump break.

First off, comparing the first web player version I exported to the most recent one, there's a fair amount of difference in file size alone. This is the earliest version I can find, considering the amount of time I had spent using Unity at that point it isn't a bad go at making a game, but I've come along a ways since then.

Final Summer Show Version

This one is near enough the one I handed in at PCA, with the exception of the mouse and keyboard controls. It looks nice, but I know I can do better than that. The trouble with going with an art style like the one I used(not even sure it's a style, just kinda vector-y) is maintaining it all the way throughout the game, even when you are capable of doing better, it would look far too disjointed to add it in at the last minute. Having said that, if I had prepared myself better for what needed to be done this year, or even worked with someone else.

Anyway, now I get to work to my hearts content on whatever I want till I get a job, or go full indie, but the second one will be no different to what I'm doing now...
DOESN'T MATTER
What does matter is that I can make a more angrier, more bloodsplosiony and more lobsterery game. I can also spend the time to make it prettier and run better, which is best for everyone really.
